Birthday dinner binge this weekend. Finally made it to Boystown’s HB Bistro and it was well worth it. This was the eggplant caponata with basil olive oil drizzle. Divine way to start the meal.
Hands down the best French bakery I’ve tried in Chicago: Vanille Patisserie. The “ambre” made me see the gates of heaven and the chocolate mousse made me question my nihilist agnosticism.
